The optimized size and shape of the Comfort Occlusal bite protector enables easy positioning and shields the imaging plates effectively from wear and damage. The unique Comfort Occlusal provides a pleasant imaging procedure for the occlusal projection imaging, even with pediatric patients. The Opticlean hygiene concept is protected by various patents, patent applications and registered designs. In the DIGORA® Optime imaging plate system there is never a need to touch the re-usable imaging plate during the imaging procedure. In addition, the Opticlean hygiene concept provides effortless end-to-end hygienic workflow with touchless operation and enhanced Optibag hygiene bags. This is the latest iteration of the system. The quality of the images is superior to Scan X and other similar charged plate systems in my opinion. My experience with it has been on numerous international discussion forums. Not very well known in Canada from what I can determine, this is truly one of the most superb phosphor plate digital systems I’ve seen.
